Naveed is a British-born Pakistani who now works and lives in North Carolina. He holds a PhD. in Astrophysics, from the University of Kent (Canterbury, UK) and professionally has held positions in Business Development, Sales, Pre-sales and Professional Services within the high-tech industry.

Most recently his focus has been Business Innovation with a track record of success in building senior relationships and sales. He brings over a decade of international experience in PS, security and digital transformation solutions. He is known for his focus, strong communication skills and aptitude for developing new markets.

In 2018 Naveed launched his photography project, FractalsEdge. His main focus is portraiture, live arts and landscapes.

He is also a staff writer at Chatham Life & Style, with over 20 published reviews and features.

In addition to the above, he has acted in and produced local theatre. Most recently he played Antigone as Tiresias, stage-managed St John’s MccC’s production of Marat/Sade and developed the website www.maratsade.com.

Naveed also serves as a board member at Bare Theatre, as well as being a local champion of the Chicago Theatre Standards. During the pandemic he has spent most of his time working on anti-racism with the Quaker community and joining with local grass-roots movements to increase awareness of racial justice issues.
